After beginning as a front desk intern at Coastal Orthopedics during high school in 2002, Tasha Lee, D.N.P., F.N.P.,-B.C., was quickly promoted to clinical assistant, where she helped with casting and assisted the clinical staff.
“My early work with Coastal Orthopedics, during my senior year and after graduating high school, helped me realize that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field,” Lee says.
As she began college and moved onto nursing school, Lee continued her work at Coastal Orthopedics, eventually transitioning into the role of medical assistant. In this role, she worked closely with the practice’s doctors and nurses. Now, after more than a decade of service to the practice and the completion of her course work and advanced training as a doctorate of nursing practice, she begins a new role leading other staff members as a nurse practitioner.
“Tasha has been a tremendous asset to our practice and provided exceptional patient care throughout her time at Coastal Orthopedics,” says Dr. J. Stewart Haskin, Jr., president of Coastal Orthopedics. “We have enjoyed working with her as she has grown and advanced into various roles within the practice, and we are proud of her accomplishments.”
