Horry-Georgetown Technical College personally selected Chapman to join their team of gifted students and professionals in competing at the 2015 AITP National Collegiate Conference and Career Fair, and the team was proud to bring home several honors from the four-day event. At this year’s event, drawing 743 attendees from 57 colleges and universities nationwide, the Horry-Georgetown Technical College team received third place in PC Troubleshooting as well as Honorable Mentions in Network Design, Enterprise Solutions and Ruby on Rails. For individual honors, Chapman earned 12th place in PC Troubleshooting, placing her in the top two percent overall.

“Competing in the 2015 AITP Conference this past month was a thrill,” says Jaime Chapman. “I think our success at the conference is a testament to the great academic programs offered at Horry-Georgetown Technical College—of the 57 schools in attendance, only 9 of them, including HGTC, were two-year colleges.”

“It was a great opportunity to share ideas, network and compete with skilled attendees and IT professionals from around the country who share my passion,” she adds.
