CONWAY, S.C. (July 2013) – Coastal Orthopedics’ information technology manager Andrew Wade has received advanced certification in health care technology and software support through four organizations. The certifications, earned through VMware, Inc., CompTIA, Inc., Apple, Inc., and Digium, Inc., provide Wade with additional knowledge and experience of various health care software.
“Andrew’s recent certifications make him better equipped to keep our practice running smoothly and efficiently,” says Ross Taylor, M.D., foot and ankle doctor at Coastal Orthopedics. “His accomplishments will benefit our doctors and staff as well as patients, by allowing us to provide the safest, most effective orthopedic care.”
The VMware Certified Professional 5, CompTIA Certified Healthcare IT Technician, Apple Certified Associate and Digium Switchvox Support Engineer certifications each required classes and exams testing Wade’s knowledge of various information systems and equipment.
