"Dr. Tupis treated me by giving me my Synvisc injections with cortisone in both my knees. For reasons, this time I was very nervous about getting this procedure done. But everything went very well. No discomfort at all. Thanks Doc!" -- Paul A.
"I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder, which was followed by therapy. Great doctor, great staff, and the rehab team is super good. I appreciate those young ladies a bunch and they were very professional." -- William T.
"I was given Dr. Wilkins name while in rehab after fracturing my hip.  My care has been above and beyond anything I could have hoped for.  After rehab, my follow up care with Dr. Wilkins continues to be great.  He is thorough, skilled, caring, and always takes time for my concerns and questions.  His staff is the same. When I've called for help and or advice, they were quick to get back to me. This whole adventure has been a blessing because of these very special people put in my path.  Thank you." -- Diane N.
"On my second trip to Conway Hospital ER with severe pain in my lower back and leg, the ER doctor referred me to Dr. William Mills at Coastal Orthopedics. After getting an appointment, Dr. Mills had his office schedule a MRI. When I went back for the results, Dr. Mills said I had a herniated disc and lumbar spinal stenosis that could be fixed with an ILIF procedure, which consisted of a plastic spacer and clamp with screws. At 70 years old and never had any kind of surgery, that didn't sound all that appealing to me. I decided to try to deal with the pain with a little bit of medication. Within a week, I was calling back begging for the surgery. I had the surgery on September 26, 2013. Immediately after the surgery, the pain was gone. I spent one night in the hospital and the nurses were really good. After being released, the first two weeks were a little uncomfortable but the medicine they give you takes care of the pain and you sleep a lot. After the third and fourth week, things got a little better each day. Week six, there was no more pain and no more medicine. I felt good and was looking forward to getting back to normal activities. I must say my first experience with surgery, I was very skeptic especially with the spine, but I couldn't be more pleased with the whole deal. Dr. William Mills and his staff wow, what can I say; they were excellent and they gave me life back. I'm very grateful. Thanks to you all."-- Wayne E.
"It was arranged for me to see Dr. Watson on October 14, 2013. I was seen promptly. Dr. Watson was thorough and explained the results of my x-rays and the reason for my lower back pain. She suggested a medication and I received the prescription form as soon as I reached the front desk. It was very efficient! Everyone I came in contact with during my visit was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this practice to anyone who has orthopedic concerns." -- Peg J.

"My experience has been very helpful and has improved my quality of life. Before treatment, I wasn’t eating, could barely cook a proper meal, and properly clean my home. I couldn’t even enjoy my six-year-old son for activities. The park was even unbearable. I have and do recommend Dr. Watson to all. She is very sincere, helpful, and so is her staff. Although I’m not 100% yet, I’m a lot better than before and expect to only improve more. I’m so grateful for Dr. Watson’s caring attentive ways and for her kind staff. If it were not for Dr. Watson, I wouldn’t have been able too paint the cow shirt for my son for his play. I also wouldn’t be able to attend school on regular basis." -- Lisa R.

"Last November, I had my right knee replaced.  During the entire process, Coastal Orthopedics treated me as a person, not a patient.  Everything went great.  So when it came time to do my left knee, it was a no brainer. Coastal Orthopedics will do my surgery again." -- Robert T.

"I am set up for a complete right hip replacement on October 21st. This will be the first of two. The second one will be done in the spring. I am a 43-year-old male. I have just moved to Myrtle Beach about two months ago from Upstate NY. I found out before moving that this would be my next step. Everyone on Dr. Ramsey’s team including him has been great. I am very comfortable in saying I have made the right choice with this team." -- Tony P.

"I am currently four weeks post op from Achilles tendon surgery done by Dr. Taylor.  He and Dr. Tupis have been excellent. The office and support of the staff have been superb! I am a registered nurse and spend long hours on my feet so I am hoping for a full recovery that will allow me to return to my current employer.  Prior to this injury, I had been a patient of Dr. Ramsey due to osteoarthritis in my right knee Thank you for your fine services and maybe I will be getting knee surgery someday in the future." -- Linda W.

"I had a right shoulder problem for a few months, where the symptoms were so bad; I could hardly use my arm. My primary care physician had referred me to Dr. Preslar, who had an MRI done and immediately referred me to Dr. Tupis. We discovered I had a rotator cuff tear. Dr. Tupis performed the surgery and within a few short weeks of treatment and therapy, I am doing great! Dr. Tupis has a great "bed side manner" and listened to my complaints with an understanding and knowledge of what is wrong and how to proceed with the treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Dr. Tupis or Dr. Preslar at Coastal Orthopedics again." -- Hilda S.
